Doomsday

Plot:

A lethal virus spreads throughout the British isles,infecting millions and killing hundreds of thousands. To contain the threat, acting authorities brutally quarantine the country as it succumbs to fear and chaos. The quarantine is successful. Three decades later, the Reaper virus violently resurfaces in a major city. An elite group of specialists, including Eden Sinclair, is urgently dispatched into the still-quarantined country to retrieve a cure by any means necessary. Shut off from the rest of the world, the unit must battle through a landscape that has become a waking nightmare

Review:

I wanted to check this movie out a few months ago while I was in Spokane bored in the mall. Instead I watched 10,000 BC due to time constraints. Anyways, this movie is a good zombie-like-action-flick with decent action scenes and some decent characters. Very decent...

Its about a disease that wipes out northern part of the UK and the government puts up huge ass walls to keep em out. Apparently theres some people still alive in there after 20 years and they go into investigate it.

The only thing that kept me watching this movie is the main actress: Rhona Mitra (see below). Not gonna lie, she was smoking in it. Kinda made the movie cheap in a way... but I didn't want to make a fuss.

Also, the same song that was used in 28 Days Later. Just remixed... So it really felt like the same movie.
