Righteous Kill

Plot:

Turk and Rooster, two aging NYPD detectives who have been longtime partners are faced with a serial killer who is murdering sociopathic criminals. They both have personal issues, and when they start working with a younger team, Perez and Riley, tensions between the pairs of partners is inevitable, especially since Turk is now living with Perez's ex-girlfriend, also a homicide detective.

Review:

Ok. We got Pacino. We got De Niro. Arguably the 2 best actors of our time. We got Donnie 'Don't call me Marky Mark' Wahlberg and Carla Gugino's smoking bod. This has all the makings of a great movie. Too bad its NOT. The story is really thin and is obvious whats gonna happen at the end. Its not Heat and if you rent it hoping to see something similar you'll be disappointed. The worst part of this flick is that you're supposed to believe that Pacino and DeNiro are detectives when they look like they should be in a retirement home. Now, its not terrible. Its just a let down.

Rating: 2/5
